Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Construction Manager to lead large capital projects across sites worldwide, reporting to the Construction Engineering Manager. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time execution while collaborating with global teams.

Based at Chemours sites with travel up to 50%, you will develop front-end loading, lead planning, and manage contractor relationships to deliver world-class projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years of construction management experience on industrial construction projects.
• Broad knowledge of capital project and support processes with experience in one craft area (Civil/Structural, Process/Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls).
• Ability to lead/manage a large capital construction project.
• Experience in achieving field execution through the use of contractors.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Safety plan development and management.
• Development of MI-QA plan and validation of execution.
• Participation and input in Engineering/Design Development Reviews.
• Development of contracting strategy, contractor qualification and performance management.
• Lead constructability analysis and optimization with innovative construction technologies.
• Provide input on construction schedule and budget review/validation.
• Oversee construction in the field and manage on-site CM resources.
• Coordinate materials and equipment to maintain schedule and productivity.
