Job summary

The Chemours Company is hiring a Project Manager to lead capital projects across global sites, reporting to the Senior Manager – Capital Projects. You will manage scope, cost, schedule, and resources, delivering safe, high‑quality outcomes while partnering with teams worldwide.

Responsibilities include front-end loading, risk management, and ensuring design standards are followed. This role may be based near Wilmington, DE or Philadelphia with broad travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years managing capital projects.
• Minimum 3 years in a chemical plant environment.
• Minimum 2 years with field construction or contract management.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in managing capital projects in the $1M - $20M.
• Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead large/complex and small capital projects from FEL through Start-Up.
• Plan, lead, and manage all activities across design, procurement, construction, and controls.
• Develop project scopes, estimates, budgets, and schedules with stakeholders.
• Oversee changes in scope and control costs per the project policy.
• Coordinate with internal/external design resources and contractors.
• Facilitate risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
