Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital projects globally, reporting to the Senior Manager – Capital Projects. The role emphasizes safety, quality and innovation across FEL through Start-Up, with collaboration across teams worldwide.

Ideal candidates have strong project leadership, 5+ years in capital projects, and experience in chemical plant environments. Remote-based position with travel required and proximity to HQ in Wilmington/Philadelphia area preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years managing capital projects.
• Minimum 3 years in a chemical plant environment.
• Minimum 2 years in field construction or contract management.
• Experience managing capital projects from $1M to $20M.

Responsibilities

• Identify project team resources and secure staffing.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Lead front-end loading, project estimates, funding requests and schedules.
• Drive scope, cost, schedule and resources across projects.
• Manage changes and cost within approved budgets.
• Lead risk identification and mitigation sessions.
• Ensure design standards and contractor agreements are followed.
