Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead large and small capital projects across sites, reporting to the Senior Manager – Capital Projects. The role involves end-to-end execution from FEL through Start-Up, with governance under the Chemours Project System and collaboration across global teams.

Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years of capital project experience, 3+ years in a chemical plant setting, and 2+ years of contract management. Travel ~40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of capital project management experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a chemical plant environment.
• Minimum 2 years of field construction or contract management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to lead by influence.

Responsibilities

• Identify project team resources and secure staffing.
• Ensure team understands roles, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Establish clear communications with stakeholders on objectives and scopes.
• Lead front-end loading: scopes of work, estimates, funding requests, schedule, design basis.
• Proactively manage scope, cost, schedule and resources; drive MCP compliance.
