Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Construction Manager to lead large, world‑class capital projects on a global scale. This role involves safety, quality, and schedule accountability, along with coordinating Owner’s Representative activities across multiple sites and functions.

The position favors proximity to Chemours sites and requires travel to project locations. Qualifications include 8+ years in industrial construction management, broad capital process knowledge, and the ability to drive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years of construction management experience on Industrial Construction related projects.
• Broad knowledge of capital project and support processes (ideally in-depth and practical experience in one craft area).
• Ability to lead/manage a large capital construction project.
• Experience in achieving field execution through the use of contractors.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to capital project location(s) (nationally, potentially internationally).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical input during Front End Loading and Detailed Design.
• Lead Constructability Analysis and Optimization and include innovative construction technologies.
• Oversee construction in the field including safety, quality, and schedule.
• Manage on-site CM resources and audit safety and quality plans.
• Coordinate all Chemours and contractor resources during construction; maintain schedules.
• Support commissioning and start-up efforts and input into planning and budgeting.
