Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a Conflicts Staff Attorney for our Seattle, Washington office with options for full remote work within reasonable commuting distance of our offices. The role focuses on screening potential client engagements in line with risk management policies and procedures.

You will analyze conflicts in the firm’s systems, assist in clearing potential conflicts, and help draft waivers while collaborating with attorneys to ensure compliance with Rules of Professional

Qualifications

• 3+ years of conflict analysis experience in a large law firm.
• JD required.
• Knowledge of conflict of interest rules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with conflict screening in intake processes.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and analyze conflicts database searches for new matters.
• Assist intake attorneys in clearing potential conflicts.
• Draft waivers for conflicts as allowed.
• Participate in training sessions on conflict screening.
• Update training materials on conflict and new business intake.
• Run special searches for potential conflict issues.
• Participate in risk management projects.
• Support other administrative tasks as assigned.
