Job summary

Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join our growing team. You will research, review, and resolve conflict of interest issues related to firm new business and lateral attorney hires, collaborating with Ethics Counsel, Claims Counsel, Recruiting, and attorneys firm-wide.

This role can be fully remote from approved offices and uses Intapp Conflicts and other firm systems. Ideal candidates have a JD, bar membership, at least 2 years in conflicts clearance, waivers, and ethical

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school and an active bar membership.
• At least 2 years of experience with clearing conflicts, drafting waiver letters, and implementing outside counsel guidelines at a large law firm.
• At least 2 years of experience with Intapp Conflicts.
• At least 2 years of experience opening matters for lateral-hire attorneys at a large law firm.

Responsibilities

• Research, review and analyze conflicts reports to identify conflicts and assist attorneys in resolving them.
• Identify conflicts of interest to ensure compliance with policies and rules.
• Consult and advise attorneys regarding conflicts clearance and matter openings.
• Use firm software and databases to review and clear conflicts and document steps.
