Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join our team across Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York or Washington D.C. offices.

This is a six-month temporary role with the possibility of fully remote work within reasonable commuting distance from our offices. You will perform conflict searches, validate records, analyze potential issues, and maintain conflict databases, supporting attorneys and staff in new business intake, lateral hires, and ongoing matters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a conflicts analyst, preferably at a large law firm.
• High School diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with precise grammar and spelling.
• Detail orientation, analytical mindset, and solid organizational skills.
• Solid database search skills and ability to craft search logic.
• Typing speed of 35–40 wpm and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills; team orientation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Intapp is preferred.
• Willingness to adapt to new technology and learn upgrades.
• Excellent grammar, proofreading, and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive research, analysis, and documentation of potential conflicts for new business intake.
• Conduct conflict searches on incoming lateral attorneys and provide detailed analyses.
• Communicate with attorneys to confirm client statuses and update records as needed.
• Enter and update records in the conflicts database for notices, hires, and fiduciary relationships.
• Run project-driven searches (mergers, RFPs, onboarding, high-volume party checks).
• Audit conflict submittals and produce daily reports on checks and new matters.
• Assist with special projects and Intapp CBI support as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; adhere to schedule.
