Career Legal is partnering with a leading international law firm to hire a Conflicts Counsel for Attorney Hiring. This role is fully remote in the US and focuses on conflicts arising from lateral attorney candidates, new hires and staff appointments.

You will review reports, liaise with candidates and internal stakeholders, draft disclosures, implement ethical walls, and support onboarding, while staying abreast of ethics and risk management initiatives.

Formación

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active US law license in good standing.
• 2–3+ years’ experience in conflicts, ideally with attorney-hire focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts of interest.
• Liaise with candidates and internal stakeholders to gather information.
• Progress conflicts clearance with Partners, firm leadership and recruitment.
• Draft screening memoranda and ethical disclosures.
• Implement ethical walls and support onboarding when required.
• Provide updates on conflicts clearance status to stakeholders.
• Support wider ethics and risk management initiatives.
