Job summary

Lewis Brisbois is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join the Conflicts Department in the Office of General Counsel. The role involves reviewing conflicts checks for new matters and hires, identifying conflicts issues, and working with attorneys to clear conflicts of interest.

The position supports by Aderant Expert software and offers a hybrid work model with remote possibilities. The ideal candidate holds a JD, active bar membership, and at least three years in a large law firm conflicts

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing.
Minimum three years of experience as a conflicts attorney in a large law firm.
Experience conducting lateral hire conflicts checks is preferred.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze conflicts check reports for new matters and hires.
Identify potential conflicts issues and work to resolve and clear conflicts of interest.
Collaborate with firm attorneys and staff to ensure conflict clearance.
