Job summary

Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP seeks a Conflicts Attorney to join the Conflicts Department in the Office of General Counsel. You will review and analyze conflicts check reports for new matters, lateral hires, and support staff hires, identifying conflicts and working with attorneys to resolve them.

You will handle confidential information with discretion and leverage Aderant Expert to support the resolution process.

Qualifications

JD and active bar in good standing with any state bar.
At least 3 years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm.
At least 1 year of cumulative experience conducting lateral hire conflicts checks preferred.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
High attention to detail, self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work efficiently under deadlines.
Experience with Aderant Expert is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze conflicts check reports for new firm matters, lateral attorney hires, and legal support staff hires.
Identify potential conflicts issues and work with firm attorneys and staff to resolve and clear conflicts of interest.
Support the conflicts resolution process alongside the Aderant Expert system.
