Job summary

Alight is seeking a collaborative Configuration and Testing Analyst to partner with Account Executives, clients, and internal teams. You will gather and document business requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and translate challenges into practical solutions.

You will help ensure configurations are tested and delivered accurately while supporting consistent processes and best practices across Alight Leave Solutions. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
• Experience in Absence & Disability, Leave of Absence, HR, employee benefits, and/or health insurance tech.
• Deliver detailed requirements for complex projects and support transformation or automation initiatives.
• Experience with Smart Sheets and JAVA; IIBA CCBA/CBAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements with stakeholders and translate into actionable items.
• Lead requirements-gathering discussions and support configuration, implementation, and testing.
• Identify process improvements and establish scalable best practices.
• Build strong relationships with client, business, and technical partners.
• Serve as escalation point for issues and coordinate solutions.
• Collaborate with technology partners to align requirements and development.
• Mentor and support other Business Systems Analysts in requirements gathering and analysis.
• Evaluate completed work and identify learnings to strengthen future processes.
• Develop and promote tools and resources aligned with business goals.
