Job summary

Affim is seeking a Compliance Lead to strengthen our testing program and regulatory adherence. The role collaborates with Legal, Risk, Product, and Engineering to resolve issues, enhance controls, and ensure timely regulatory compliance reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Compliance Testing or Audit.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends.
• Experience in end-to-end compliance testing activities.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Inquisitive and proactive in proposing solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Google Docs, spreadsheets, presentations.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing compliance testing and reporting on adherence to compliance program and federal/state regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, and other departments to complete reviews.
• Support a fast-paced business with tight deadlines while delivering thorough work product.
• Collaborate with management to identify improvements to current processes or propose new processes to strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate the execution of the compliance risk assessment and control inventory, including collecting and documenting results.
• Serve as an expert in regulatory compliance and its application to new or revised products and services.
• Continuously improve internal compliance processes related to the Compliance Testing Program.
