Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking an energetic Compliance Specialist to join the team. This remote-friendly role supports move-ins, annual recertifications, and regulatory compliance across multiple states including UT.

Ideal candidates have 3–4+ years of affordable housing compliance, strong attention to detail, and experience with Yardi or Rent Café. Compensation features a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–4+ years of affordable housing compliance experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple certifications and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and track move-in applications within 3–5 business days.
• Process and track annual recertifications within 30 days of the effective date.
• Input applicant income, asset, and household data per program guidelines.
• Ensure move-in files are complete and ready for compliance review prior to lease signing.
• Communicate with applicants, residents, and site teams to obtain missing documents.
• Support timely move-ins and occupancy goals with property management staff.
• Maintain organized records in compliance systems.
• Prepare move-in files for audits and assist with annual compliance reports.
