Roers Companies is seeking an energetic Compliance Specialist to join our team. You will process and track move-in applications, annual recertifications, and maintain records in our compliance systems to ensure timely approvals and audit readiness.

The role requires 3-4+ years of affordable housing compliance experience, detail orientation, strong communication, and familiarity with Yardi or Rent Café. This is a remote opportunity for U.S. residents in specified states.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-4+ years of Affordable housing compliance experience.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple certifications and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with applicants, residents, and colleagues.
• Experience with property management or compliance software preferred (Yardi, Rent Café).

Responsabilidades

• Process and track move-in applications within 3-5 business days.
• Process and track annual recertifications within 30 days of the effective date.
• Collect and input applicant income, assets, and household information per guidelines.
• Ensure move-in files are complete and ready for compliance review before lease signing.
• Communicate with applicants, residents, and site teams to obtain missing information.
• Support timely move-ins and occupancy goals with property management staff.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance systems.
• Provide updates on status to Compliance Leadership and regional managers.
• Assist in preparing move-in files for audits and annual reports.
• Collaborate with senior compliance and managers to resolve deficiencies.
