Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a brand-new team that builds configurable reports for expanding into new markets and jurisdictions. The role focuses on compliance, reporting, and scalable processes across states.

You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions, develop forms and workflows, and improve product tooling and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience working with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements, helping customers successfully deploy Mark43 in new jurisdictions.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customer reporting needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows that reduce customization while meeting diverse customer requirements.
• Worked with customers to troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify opportunities to improve the product.
• Helped establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team that will play a key role in Mark43's continued growth.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to make compliance reporting easier to build, maintain, and scale.
