Job summary

Gorman & Company, LLC is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead a nationwide portfolio of affordable housing properties. This remote role involves supervising a team, guiding HUD, LIHTC, PBRA, HOME programs, and coordinating with internal teams to maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct affordable housing compliance experience.
• Experience with LIHTC and HUD programs; PBRA and HOME preferred.
• COS or TCS certification; HCCP preferred.
• Experience managing and developing people.
• Extensive experience with audits/regulatory inquiries and resolving deficiencies.
• Knowledge of HUD 4350.3, EIV, LIHTC income limits and rent calculations, Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support Compliance team members on daily questions, file corrections, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve applicant, move-in, transfer, and recertification files for eligibility and compliance.
• Conduct on-site and remote compliance audits; document findings and coordinate corrective action.
• Prepare and submit responses to MORs, agency inquiries, and regulatory requests.
• Monitor lease-ups, occupancy, waitlists, LAP, and EIV binders; analyze site data for issues.
• Review regulatory documents and contracts to ensure consistent compliance across systems.
• Maintain compliance forms and update manuals, procedures, and workflows as regulations evolve.
• Validate system configurations and site assignments in RealPage OneSite.
