Affim is a remote-first company seeking a Compliance Lead to advance the Compliance Testing Program, partnering with Legal, Operations, Product, and Engineering to identify gaps and remediate issues. The role reports to the Senior Compliance Manager and requires independent, cross-functional work to strengthen regulatory adherence across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience in Compliance Testing, or Audit.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends.
• Experience in completing end-to-end compliance testing activities.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Inquisitive and proactive in proposing creative and effective solutions and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing compliance testing and reporting on adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, and others.
• Support fast-paced business with precise, thorough work product.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate compliance risk assessment and control inventory documentation.
• Serve as an expert on regulatory compliance for new/revised products and services.
• Continuously improve internal compliance processes related to Testing Program.
