Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Manager, Competitive Intelligence to perform research and analysis on corporate strategy initiatives, often with broad objectives, and to present findings to all levels of management.

This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. who can work Eastern Time business hours, and you will support sales, marketing, and leadership with timely intelligence and strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics.
• Master's degree preferred MBA, accounting, finance, economics.
• Two (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required.
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely
• Utilize intelligence garnered from primary and secondary research activities to develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated key intelligence topics
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant sources of primary and secondary research
