Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Manager Compensation to lead the development and execution of compensation programs across our global organization.

You will oversee the full-cycle annual process, design and administer programs, and drive data-driven insights while partnering with HR, Finance, and business leaders. You will coach a team of compensation professionals, influence stakeholders, and ensure pay practices align with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent work experience or high school diploma/GED
• Minimum 5 years of compensation experience
• Minimum 2 years of leading and managing teams
• Preferred: experience leading compensation teams in a large, global organization
• Experience with Workday, Payscale, and compensation/commission tools
• Knowledge of sales compensation design and administration
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-functional partnerships
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
• Experience designing or implementing compensation programs and strategies

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of compensation professionals
• Build relationships with executive stakeholders and provide strategic compensation guidance
• Oversee the full-cycle annual compensation process
• Partner to design, enhance, and administer compensation programs including sales compensation
• Analyze compensation data, market trends, and business metrics
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and People Analytics teams
• Drive process improvements to streamline compensation operations
• Develop compensation education resources for managers and employees
• Monitor compliance and market practices to maintain competitive pay
