Job summary

Innovative Renal Care is seeking a Compensation Specialist to support fair, consistent, and competitive pay practices across our organization. You will review compensation requests, analyze data, and provide clear, well-supported recommendations to leaders at all levels in a fully remote capacity.

You will work with market data, internal equity, and policy alignment, contributing to annual compensation cycles and educating leaders on pay philosophy and timing considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; equivalent combo welcome.
• 2+ years HR experience; healthcare HR preferred.
• Exposure to compensation analysis, pay changes, or HR operations.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with HRIS or compensation benchmarking tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with leaders at all levels.
• High attention to detail in compensation data interpretation.
• Proactive approach to educating leaders on compensation practices.

Responsibilities

• Review compensation change requests submitted through UKG; evaluate data.
• Conduct holistic compensation analyses using market data, internal equity, and merit timing.
• Develop data-supported compensation recommendations using Excel and pricing tools.
• Communicate recommendations to leaders and ensure alignment with policy and equity.
• Escalate complex or unresolved situations to HR leadership when needed.
• Provide education to leaders on compensation practices and timing considerations.
• Support annual compensation cycles, including merit and bonus processes.
• Maintain accurate job descriptions and assist with leveling.
• Contribute to compensation projects to improve consistency and efficiency.
