Job summary

Merck seeks a Territory Manager to cover the Raleigh, NC region, engaging veterinary clinics, shelters and corporate accounts with the Animal Health portfolio. You will work with field teams to identify needs, tailor discussions, and drive account opportunities that grow sales and deliver value.

This role requires strong communication, strategic account planning, and the ability to travel overnight. Remote work arrangements are available with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years sales experience.
• Or a minimum of a high school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate about Animal Health product portfolio in a meaningful way for each customer.
• Be primary contact for assigned customers and understand practice structure and needs.
• Develop territory and account plans with cross-functional partners to drive sales growth.
• Collaborate to enhance knowledge of the Animal Health portfolio and share learnings regionally.
• Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
