Job summary

Merck Animal Health is seeking a Territory Manager to cover the Raleigh, NC area. You will work face to face with veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts, tailoring solutions from our Companion Animal product portfolio to meet customer needs.

In this role you will collaborate with field teams, develop account plans, analyze sales results, and drive growth for Animal Health. Travel is required, with up to 50% travel and relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 0-3 years sales experience.
• Alternate: High school diploma with 5+ years related sales or healthcare experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers and meet with key decision makers.
• Develop territory and account plans with internal teams to drive sales growth.
• Communicate Animal Health portfolio and tailor discussions to customer needs.
• Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget.
