Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales commission or sales compensation.
• Experience administering a compensation or commission tool (Xactly/Oracle/Varicent).
• Expert-level Excel skills, including building and auditing large, complex models.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly commission calculations and ensure on-time payments across all plans.
• Reconcile commission expense against sales and finance records; resolve payee questions.
• Administer commission plans and keep compensation data current as plans/territories change.
• Maintain controls and support audits for sales commissions.
• Lead transition to a new commission platform, with data validation and testing.
• Build reports and dashboards to show commission performance to leadership.
• Analyze plan performance, run what-if analyses, and help shape next year's plan design.
• Create clear communications and train sales teams on plan changes.
