Job summary

First American's GO Title division is seeking a Commercial Title Examiner to support large-scale real estate transactions. You will search, examine, and connect data across counties and jurisdictions to ensure accurate title commitments and clear ownership chains.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, plus strong analytical and communication skills, are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least 3 years of related experience in commercial title

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of directly related commercial title insurance experience in title searching, examining, and writing commitments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, internet, property data platforms and the ability to learn company systems.
• Clear and professional communication with a customer service mindset.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Search, examine and connect data across counties and jurisdictions.
• Verify legal property descriptions, including reading, interpreting, and plotting.
• Review and analyze public records such as leases, subleases, deeds, liens, and easements to determine ownership and any title-related restrictions.
• At least 3 years of directly related commercial title insurance experience in title searching, examining, and writing commitments.
