Job summary

First American's GO Title division is seeking a Commercial Title Examiner to support large-scale multi-property transactions. You will analyze public records, verify ownership, and identify title issues while partnering with underwriters to close deals securely.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of commercial title insurance experience, strong knowledge of real estate terminology, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of directly related commercial title insurance experience.
• Understanding of relevant legal and real estate terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, and data platforms.
• Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial title searches and prepare commitments and reports.
• Review public records, deeds, liens, leases to determine ownership and restrictions.
• Summarize findings for underwriters and clients with precision.
• Collaborate with underwriters and internal partners to ensure accuracy.
