Job summary

First American's GO Title division seeks a Commercial Title Examiner to ensure accurate title analysis for large real estate transactions. You will review public records, verify ownership, and identify title issues while coordinating with underwriters and clients.

The role emphasizes precision, speed, and collaboration in a remote-friendly environment. You bring at least 3 years in title insurance, strong knowledge of real estate terminology, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe

Qualifications

• Three or more years of commercial title insurance experience.
• Understand relevant real estate terminology and concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, and data platforms.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial title projects from single to multi-property transactions.
• Search, examine, and connect data across counties and jurisdictions.
• Verify legal descriptions and interpret plots and leases, deeds, liens.
• Summarize findings and prepare title commitments and reports.
• Identify discrepancies or missing information through research and documentation.
• Collaborate with underwriters and internal partners to ensure accuracy.
