Job summary

First American's GO Title division seeks a Commercial Title Examiner to support large-scale real estate transactions, from office buildings to multi-property portfolios. You will analyze public records, verify ownership, and identify title issues while collaborating with underwriters and clients to close deals smoothly.

You will bring at least 3 years of commercial title insurance experience, strong real estate terminology knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial title insurance experience in searching, examining, and writing commitments.
• Knowledge of legal and real estate terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, internet and data platforms.
• Strong analytical and independent problem solving abilities.
• Highly organized in fast-paced, paperless environments.
• Clear, professional communication with a customer service mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of projects across single to multi-property commercial transactions.
• Search, examine and connect data across counties and jurisdictions; verify descriptions.
• Review public records to determine ownership and title-related restrictions.
• Summarize findings and prepare title commitments and reports with precision.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information through research.
• Collaborate with underwriters and internal partners to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
