Job summary

The Day & Zimmermann Group, Inc. seeks a Manager, Supply Chain, MC to remotely support onsite project teams across the United States.

This full-time role emphasizes procurement leadership, supplier negotiations, and alignment with SAP and project schedules to meet client expectations. You will drive the development of procurement strategies, lead the supplier selection process, and mentor a team while contributing to process improvements, risk management, and performance metrics across MC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field or equivalent supply chain experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in construction, power, industrial, or supply chain environments.
• Fossil power project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement lifecycle: PO and subcontract issuance, review terms, and supplier solicitations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet client requirements and schedules.
• Ensure SAP and Supply Chain processes are compliant and well-documented.
• Lead and participate in the proposal process, including supply chain estimates and strategy.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve supply chain performance and reduce costs.
• Oversee supplier selection, redlines negotiation, risk mitigation and performance feedback.
