Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support, Receptionist, Account Assistant, and Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting info, negotiate coverages and pricing, prepare proposals, issue bindings.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and manage accounts receivable.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity/suspense for timely completion.
• Maintain communication with the account team regarding workload.
• Deliver excellent service and proactive support.
• Stay updated on policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices and contribute to team performance.
• Champion IOA values.
