Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team with administrative and client services, under the guidance of an Account Manager or Producer. You will help renewals, endorsements, and policy administration while upholding service standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance client service, active licensing (CISR preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office to manage policies,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting info, prepare submissions, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team and respond to issues.
• Deliver proactive service and champion IOA values.
