Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations from a remote-capable role. This leadership position requires a P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation, and 5–7+ years of large brokerage experience.

You will drive workflow standardization, process optimization, and strategic initiatives with producers and operations teams. The role supports M&A integration, workforce planning, and scalable solutions across the organization while ensuring exceptional

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations and service delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable efficiency improvements.
• Promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement projects to boost productivity and consistency.
• Analyze root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Develop capacity plans through workforce analysis and staffing models.
• Coordinate with Managed Services for resource alignment.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and EPIC usage.
• Support M&A integration with operational assessments and alignment.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive adoption of new processes.
• Improve performance using metrics and business intelligence.
• Lead change management for new processes organization-wide.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and IOA values.
