Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, drive workflow standardization, and guide strategic initiatives across the brokerage. You will partner with divisional and regional leaders to optimize performance, scalability, and client service, while supporting M&A integration and operational transformation.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of commercial lines leadership in a large agency, an active P&C license, and

Qualifications

Active Property & Casualty License required.
CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience with mergers/acquisitions and operational integration initiatives.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
Proven ability to influence leaders in a matrixed organization.

Workflow Standardization: establish standardized workflows and best practices.
Process Optimization: lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
Root Cause Analysis: identify underlying causes and implement corrective actions.
Workforce Planning: analyze staffing and capacity to support growth.
M&A Integration Support: assist integration planning and workflow alignment.
Systems & Tech Optimization: promote EPIC and other tools to improve performance.
Performance Analysis: use metrics and BI to drive improvements.
Change Leadership: drive adoption of new processes and practices.
