Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to steward a book of business, ensuring retention and supporting growth across a nationwide client base.

You will lead day-to-day account management activities, coordinate service requests, advise on coverage, renewals, and billing, and collaborate with underwriters and vendors to deliver exceptional service while upholding IOA values.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• Experience in commercial transportation/trucking advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion of activity and suspense items.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive, excellent service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve individual and team performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership in IOA values.
