Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new opportunities. You will coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service, resolve complex issues, and ensure policy management, renewals, billing and carrier coordination are handled with accuracy and care.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in account management, active P&C licensing, and knowledge of trucking/transportation coverage to drive client

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise; direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and present renewal proposals.
