Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain clients, and support new business development. You will coordinate daily admin tasks, handle policy administration, billing, claims, and renewals with a focus on accuracy and proactive service.

The role requires 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing is required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure no errors or omissions.
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals.
• Assist with renewal submissions, coverages, and proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
