Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, ensure retention, and support new business development. The role requires coordinating admin tasks, resolving complex issues, and maintaining accurate policy data.

You will lead a team, analyze coverage needs, handle renewals, and ensure high-quality service. Ideal candidates hold an active license, with CIC preferred, and excel in communication and problem solving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active licensing is required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Maintain technical competence and industry knowledge.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle client requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct client submissions and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms; ensure data accuracy.
