Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business. You will coordinate day-to-day service, renewals, and policy administration with a focus on accuracy and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license with 3+ years in account management (5+ years in insurance) and strong communication, problem-solving, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Maintain policy expirations, renewals, and billing analysis.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, and negotiate coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and stay updated on company policies.
