Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage assigned accounts, retain business, and support new opportunities. The role works with an emphasis on service, renewal analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will have an active P&C license, 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, and strong communication skills. A CIC or similar designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals; conduct renewals and submissions.
• Handle billing, claims, coverage analysis, and vendor/carrier system maintenance.
• Maintain frequent communication with the account team on workload and issues.
• Drive service excellence and ensure adherence to company policies.
