Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new business. The role includes policy administration, billing, claims handling, and coverage analysis, with emphasis on service excellence and timely issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in account management (or 5+ years in insurance), an active P&C license (CIC or equivalent preferred), and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active P&C license (CIC or equivalent preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to ensure retention and growth
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analyses
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals; prepare submissions and proposals
• Communicate status and workload transparently with the team
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy
• Support on-time completion of activities and service requests
