Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, drive retention, and support new business development in a hybrid environment.

The role requires strong underwriting knowledge, excellent customer service, and active P&C licensing. You will coordinate policy administration, billing, claims, and renewals while leading a team to deliver service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance
• Active P&C license is required
• Professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business with a focus on retention and growth
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities
• Resolve complex issues, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Monitor renewals and prepare submissions for client proposals
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
