Job summary

Base Solutions is seeking a field-based Commercial Sales Account Manager to drive revenue in Chicagoland and NW Indiana, focusing on design-build and retrofit HVAC projects. Youll cultivate relationships with architects, engineers, developers, builders, and utilities while leading take-offs and proposals.

You will travel within the territory and coordinate with inside sales and logistics to ensure timely product delivery and customer success.

Qualifications

BachelorA s Degree or equivalent education.
3+ years of sales, blueprint reading and equipment selection.
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Team player with customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

Territory Growth: Develop and execute business plans to acquire new clients while expanding existing accounts.
Relationship Management: Primary contact for accounts; face-to-face consultations and regular facility visits, with technical assistance as needed.
Sales Execution: Perform product demonstrations, deliver technical proposals, and negotiate contracts and pricing.
Market Analysis: Track competitor activities, pricing strategies and local construction/industry trends to stay competitive.
Operational Support: Manage sales pipelines in CRM tools like Salesforce and coordinate with inside sales and logistics for delivery.
