Job summary

IEM is seeking a Commercial Data Analyst to unlock insights that drive strategic decision-making and performance management for a top customer. You will analyze customer behavior, marketplace dynamics, and operational performance, partnering with the IT BI team to establish KPIs, metrics, and dashboards.

You will develop analytics frameworks, monitor retention and market growth, and provide actionable insights to influence business priorities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant analytical experience with large datasets and delivering insights.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics or related field preferred.
• Experience in commercial domain preferred.
• Hands-on experience incorporating AI tools into day-to-day analytical work.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights and clear communication.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring analysts in a team environment.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance analytics frameworks to monitor customer retention, market share and revenue growth; support expansion initiatives.
• Provide analytics and insights into forecasts and their impact on operational performance and prioritization.
• Provide analytics for quote-to-order conversion.
• Provide analytics around key operational metrics influencing customer satisfaction.
• Leverage AI tools and modern analytics workflows to improve efficiency and insight generation.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Infrastructure, and other Analytics teams using Tableau and Snowflake to deliver timely performance insights.
• Communicate clear, actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of respect and engagement.
• Demonstrate high integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when handling workplace information.
• Foster clear, proactive communication with peers, management, and external partners to build strong relationships.
• Team up with cross-functional and leadership teams to drive operational success.
