Job summary

Comcast is seeking a dedicated Collections Associate to handle commercial customer inquiries, negotiate payment plans, and uphold federal and state collection guidelines. This remote role requires a reliable, customer-focused professional who can work within established procedures.

You will support customers with billing questions, process payments securely, and help meet performance metrics while maintaining data confidentiality. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Handle delinquent commercial accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Follow federal and state collection guidelines and laws.
• Work remotely with a flexible schedule 8am–8pm EST.
• Maintain professional communications and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review past due commercial accounts to negotiate payments.
• Comply with national credit and collection policies, along with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Utilize multiple systems to resolve customer account issues.
• Clarify billing cycles, prorates, and communicate related fees clearly.
• Process payments securely and establish policy-compliant payment arrangements.
• Execute disconnect procedures for overdue accounts when necessary.
• Escalate to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain professionalism in a high-volume environment.
• Protect customer and business data confidentiality.
