Job summary

Kemper is seeking a bi-lingual Sales Executive - Commercial Auto to drive profitable growth across Texas, with emphasis on the Austin area. The role is remote with frequent local travel to meet agents and clients.

You will influence agents to sell Kemper Auto products, execute the sales strategy, and develop long-term profitable relationships within the agency channel. Qualifications include 3+ years in sales, 1+ year in commercial insurance, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, bilingual

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience with 1+ years of Commercial insurance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Working knowledge of insurance operations: underwriting, claims, marketing, and product.
• Effective communication skills and be an acceptable public speaker.
• Flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter.
• Intermediate to advanced ability to manipulate, segment and interpret report data through spreadsheets.
• Highly skilled at time management.

• Implements and executes sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals.
• Collaborates with internal partners to achieve intended outcomes.
• Utilizes sales tools to influence behavior and drive results.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities within Kemper Auto offerings.
• Manages and develops a territory of independent agents.
• Provides consultative selling and builds strong relationships with agents.
• Drives new business growth, mix of business, retention, and profitability.
• Stays current on product and pricing trends; participates in regional strategy meetings.
• Assists in implementing new production launches and builds action plans from data.
