Wheels, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Repair Specialist II for a fully remote role. You will review and authorize complex collision repairs, negotiate costs, and ensure adherence to I-CAR and ASE standards within client parameters.

The position emphasizes timely follow-up and coordination with drivers, shops, and fleet managers. Five years of experience in auto adjusting/appraising, I-CAR Platinum certification, and proficiency with Windows/ADP estimating systems are required.

Qualifications

• Five years of automobile adjusting or appraising experience.
• I-CAR Platinum Certified (maintained annually).
• PC familiarity including Windows and ADP estimating systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and authorize collision repairs and/or repair recommendations for Wheels clients.
• Review and approve high dollar repair estimates using I-CAR resources and crash guides.
• Adhere to Mitchell, CCC, or current parts and labor guides for pricing and times.
• Negotiate repair costs to fleet price or pre-negotiated Wheels Network rates and times.
• Issue and verify accuracy of purchase orders.
• Approve repairs based on mileage, service months, and prior history; include safety repairs within parameters.
• Handle complex issues (engine, axles, transmissions, drivability, electrical) with high skill.
• Expedite higher dollar repairs with timely follow-up.
• Assist with managing difficult files and daily fleet approvals.
