Job summary

Wheels, Inc. seeks a Repair Specialist II to manage highly technical collision repairs per I-CAR & ASE standards. You will authorize repairs, review estimates, and negotiate costs within client and Wheels policies. This fully remote role supports fleet clients with expert technical analysis and coordination.

The position emphasizes handling complex repairs, mentoring peers, and meeting performance metrics while ensuring timely, quality outcomes for client fleets.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ automobile adjusting or appraising experience.
• I-CAR Platinum Certified, maintained on an annual basis.
• PC familiarity including Windows, ADP estimating systems, and Wheels supported systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and authorize collision repairs and/or repair recommendations for Wheels clients.
• Review and approve high dollar repair estimates utilizing I-CAR resources and crash guides.
• Adhere to pricing guides for parts and labor references and rates.
• Negotiate repair costs to fleet price or pre-negotiated Wheels network rates & times.
• Issue and verify accuracy of purchase orders.
• Assist Repair Level 1 with managing difficult files and daily assignments.
