Job summary

Wheels, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Repair Specialist II to ensure highly technical collision repair procedures on client vehicles are completed promptly and cost-effectively within Wheels, Inc. policies and collision management standards.

You will review repairs, authorize estimates with I-CAR/ASE standards, negotiate costs, issue and verify purchase orders, and support field teams. This remote, full-time role requires five years of adjusting experience and I-CAR Platinum

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ automobile adjusting or appraising experience.
• I-CAR Platinum Certified maintained annually.
• Proficiency with estimating tools and reference guides.

Responsibilities

• Review and authorize collision repairs and/or repair recommendations.
• Review and approve high-dollar repair estimates using I-CAR, Mitchell, CCC resources.
• Negotiate repair costs based on fleet pricing.
• Prepare and verify purchase orders; manage client parameters.
• Coordinate with Drivers, MAP Repair, and Subrogation teams on questions.
• Ensure timely follow-up for down vehicles within 24 hours.
