Job summary

Bottom Line is a nonprofit partner for degree-aspiring students from first-generation and low-income backgrounds. The Virtual College Success Advisor role is full-time, national, and fully remote, reporting to the National Program Team.

The advisor will support students via SMS and live virtual sessions, coordinate with regional coaches, and help students complete milestones in the DEAL model while maintaining Salesforce documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and work authorization.
• 1-2 years of related work experience.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
• Experience with virtual student advising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student messaging and provide live virtual support via video calls and chats.
• Guide students through DEAL milestones: Degree, Employability, Affordability, Life Skills.
• Assist with enrollment, paying balances, resume creation, and financial aid forms.
• Coordinate with regional coaches for in-person interventions and document handoffs in Salesforce.
• Support summer melt campaigns to secure fall enrollment.
