Job summary

DeWinter Group is seeking a Collection/Billing Specialist for a 100% remote, approximately three-month assignment. The role focuses on resolving outstanding balances, researching billing discrepancies, and helping customers move forward with payment.

West Coast time zone preferred; office access is available for on-site work if needed. The ideal candidate will manage a high-volume invoicing environment, apply payments, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve

Qualifications

• Experience with B2B collections and payment plan execution.
• Strong knowledge of AR aging, billing, and payment application.
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices and managing active collections accounts.
• Ability to research and resolve complex billing and payment discrepancies.
• Experience contacting customers to understand payment delays and determine solutions.

Responsibilities

• Resolve outstanding balances and move customers toward payment.
• Research billing discrepancies and provide actionable solutions for internal teams.
• Communicate with customers empathetically while remaining firm and professional.
• Elevate issues per approved matrices and follow AR cleanup initiatives.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced accounts receivable team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
